The Girls

Our beautiful herd is made up of 260 Holstein Friesian cows who are milked twice a day.  We are extremely proud of our cows and passionate about the delicious, nutritious milk they produce for us.   Most of the cows in the herd were born and hand reared here on the farm, so we really get to know them as individuals and most of them known by name.  

During the spring and summer months the cows graze the lush pastures around the farm.  This can vary depending on the weather patterns, as like most of us, the girls don’t like extreme weather and are not keen on being out when it is very hot or pouring with rain.
